We are currently seeking a new Volunteer Medical Manager to be a part of our SOOR Polk County Local Program Management Team (LPMT) to maintain athlete records and communicate SOOR medical policies and procedures to new athletes.
This role will help with the following tasks:
- Serve as the Local Program Liaison regarding athlete eligibility & medical matters
- Abide by SOOR Medical policies and procedures
- Implement appropriate medical deadline dates
- Check complete medicals for accuracy
- Communicate medical instructions with athletes, families, and guardians
- Track & maintain updated records of athletes medical needs and deadlines
The time commitment for a Volunteer LPMT member is a 3-month seasonal commitment minimum and typically ranges between 10 - 20 hours/month, of which is flexible and can be worked around your own schedule. Our ideal candidate will be able to stay with us longer than one season.
We need help NOW, for our Winter season, but if you are interested in helping with future sports seasons, please reach out to us already to start the application process and we'll coordinate the timing of your onboarding after approval.
