ORGANIZATION: Guiding Light Hospice

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 16 people are interested

Volunteers needed to visit with and read to elderly patients, on hospice care. If you enjoy reading books or sharing stories of places you have visited, we would love to have you on our volunteer team. Time commitment is flexible, and we work with you to find a location nearest you to visit. Stories can be shared in a group setting with multiple seniors or on a one-on-one basis if you prefer. Relive the magical moments of traveling to different places, experiencing different cultures, and help create that magic for patients who are no longer able to travel or for some who have never traveled. For more information about this volunteer opportunity, please contact Tammy Webb, VC at 210.585.2335 or email vc@guidinghospice.com
Thank you for your consideration in helping to brighten the day of hospice patients and seniors in your community.
