Founded in 2022, Hope for Luka Inc. is currently seeking a volunteer (will convert to paid position as we grow) treasurer or CFO to help handle our finances. (On site or remote position) As of right now, we do not have a high volume of transactions, and so this is a great opportunity for any potential treasurers to start building the finances from ground up, and become part of our aggressive movement! Hope for Luka Inc. (www.hopeforluka.org) is a nonprofit organization located in Houston, Texas focusing on finding and funding independent pre-clinical trials and studies for Muscular Dystrophy patients. We are newly-formed, however, we have on boarded two of the most renowned researchers from the United States and Netherlands as well as two physicians as our clinician advisory board members. Our mission is finding and funding muscular dystrophy studies and trials for muscular dystrophy patients worldwide.
Description
Hope for Luka Inc. was formed with one mission: to provide a real chance at finding a cure or, at the least, to slow down the progression of the disease until a cure becomes available through finding and funding research organizations and pre-clinical trials. Those statements may only become reality if parents, such as myself, are able to bypass the wait time for drug companies as well as the lengthy FDA approvals, and take matters into their own hands and start their own independent study for their children with Muscular Dystrophy.
