Volunteers place calls to patient’s home approx. 6 months after their loss. The volunteer call to the bereaved is to offer a listening ear, validate feelings and offer our bereavement resources: mailings, groups, one-on-one grief support, and future phone calls. We will accommodate your schedule and provide flexible hours. The Aurora At Home-Hospice provides flexible hands-on training.
The Aurora At Home-Hospice is a not-for-profit organization designed to provide services for terminally ill patients and their families.
Please visit Aurora Hospice Volunteer Application Form (volgistics.com) to complete an online application. After your application has been received, you will receive an email in regard to the next steps.
