The Volunteer Resources Department at the Sundance Institute is excited to announce volunteer applications for the 2023 Summer Labs are now open! Volunteering at the Summer Labs provides you with an exciting, behind the scenes opportunity to support Sundance artists in their creative processes throughout the summer season!
These are long term roles that are required to stay at the Sundance Resort for the entirety of the position dates. Volunteers for the Summer Labs receive airfare, ground transportation to/from the Salt Lake City airport, lodging near the Sundance Resort, and meals.
We are currently looking for volunteers for the following positions:
- Drivers
- Transportation Supervisor
- Administration & General Support
- Meals and Events

After you submit your application, we will review and contact qualified applicants for next steps. More positions may be posted in the near future and we encourage you to keep checking the website throughout the next few weeks.
All applicants must be available for the full duration of the volunteer position and no exceptions can be made. Applicants 21 years of age or older are highly preferred.

The Sundance Institute is a multi-disciplinary arts organization dedicated to the development of artists of independent vision and to the exhibition of their new work. The Institute seeks to offer the artistic and professional resources to filmmakers, writers, playwrights, actors, composers that will best realize new talent in an atmosphere of support, collaboration, freedom of expression and freedom to experiment. Each of the Sundance Institute's programs is guided by the primary aim of supporting artists whose work reflects an original, compelling vision.
