Store to Door has partnered with the Portland Open Bible Community Food Box program! The volunteer position is vital to keeping our food box program running. This takes place every Wednesday from 3-5pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Packing 20 boxes per week
  • Gathering requested items from shelves, bins, and storage areas
  • Packer is responsible for labeling tubs
  • Packers ensure that food boxes are assigned to the correct client
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Position requires volunteers to stand, and lift up to 20 lbs.
  • 3-month commitment
You will receive on-site training from our staff. We look forward to you joining us!

Our mission is to support independent living for Portland area seniors and people with disabilities by providing a low-cost, volunteer-based grocery shopping and delivery service.

Description

Established in 1989, Store to Door is a nonprofit organization which provides weekly personalized, low-cost grocery shopping and delivery service for seniors and people with disabilities. Our friendly volunteers fill and deliver more than 11,000 orders annually. We serve Portland and Beaverton, and are the only service of the kind in the area.
