ORGANIZATION: Community Nutrition Network & Senior Services Association/Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels in Grundy County (Morris, IL) is looking for volunteers to help answer phones at the location at Saratoga Towers. Volunteer will be directing calls, providing information on our programs and answering our senior client's questions.

We are looking for someone who could be available 3-4 hours a day, any day(s) of the week, Monday thru Friday. We will work with you on a schedule that works for everyone!

Volunteers should like talking on the phone, speak clearly, , have great organizational skills and able to help someone with questions. You will be trained by the Site Manager on the best way to answer questions.

Join us for lunch!

Fight against hunger by giving back to the older adults in your community! The Community Nutrition Network needs your help serving meals at our café sites as well as delivering meals to homebound adults. These opportunities can last anywhere from 1-3 hours and are located at various sites throughout the northern Illinois area.

At The Community Nutrition Network, we strive to keep older adults and persons with disabilities an active part of their community by providing them with the support they need. Much more than a meal, our programs combat depression and isolation, offers companionship, and provides safety checks for homebound adults.
