AIDS Care Ocean State (ACOS) hosts numerous major fundraisers throughout the year that support our programs and services. We are currently looking for volunteers for our Event Committee.

We are looking for volunteers for all stages of planning events. Whether it is to sell tickets, help decorate, welcome guests, be a resource and help with all the little details that make our events amazing and exciting!
ACOS prides itself as an organization that consistently develops and maintains successful and entertaining events. Volunteering at an event is a great way to have fun and support the work we do! We welcome individuals 18+ and groups as well as one-time volunteers.

Mission Statement
AIDS Care Ocean State (ACOS) is dedicated to providing quality affordable housing, case management, medical & nursing care, and prevention to adults, families, adolescents & children who are affected by or at risk for HIV infection. ACOS will act as an advocate for individuals and families at risk while providing those wrap-around support services needed to ensure and maintain a high quality of life for the people we serve. Our vision is a world with no new HIV infections, and those living with HIV and AIDS do so with support, equality, respect and dignity. Your gift will help us to achieve these goals.
Description
ACOS has earned its place as an established, trusted and valued part of the community and is seen as the leading force in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Currently, we provide services to more than 500 families and we have been and remain firmly rooted in the belief that everyone has the right to quality healthcare and equal access to HIV prevention, treatment and support.
Our services are crucial to the health and well-being of every client. Lack of housing, food and other social determinants are directly linked to poor health outcomes, having a detrimental effect on proper nutrition, medication adherence, family stability and job insecurity have increased depression and loneliness.CAUSE AREAS
