Mission Statement
With the mission to make Idaho the place for women and girl innovators to succeed, W.IN is uniting the collective community toward bold change in advancing women and girls in STEM, and elevating women to academic and professional excellence for positive economic impact.
Description
W.IN is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Boise, Idaho. Our mission is to make Idaho the place for women and girl innovators to succeed. We do this by knocking down the "you can’t be what you can’t see" barrier. We reach hundreds of girls and women every year with programming in 3 pillars: Career exposure, role modeling, and creation of community.
W.IN is the only Idaho organization that advocates and supports girls and women innovators throughout their journey from elementary school through career.
Our flagship events are SheTech and TechGirlz, annual career discovery days for high school & junior high.
We also have mentoring, networking, and in-school events for both students and professionals in STEM.
