Bristol Hospice works together with patients and their families to enhance their quality of life.

Volunteers provide in-home respite care for families/caregivers and provide companionship for our patients.
Are you a Veteran with a little time to spare and help your fellow brother/sister? Bristol Hospice offers a Veteran to Veteran Program. This unique support system was designed to pair veteran volunteers with patients with past military history. Giving the patient an opportunity to communicate with others with similar life experiences. As you know, Veterans don't share their experiences with everyone, but they will with a fellow veteran.
Bristol Hospice Dallas is in continual need of compassionate individuals interested in volunteering their time to our hospice patients/families. An eagerness for helping and a little time to offer support is very much appreciated by our hospice families.

We have patient throughout the metroplex!

Mission Statement

Bristol Hospice is graciously committed to our mission that all patients and families entrusted to our care will be treated with the highest level of compassion, respect, and quality of care.

Description

Bristol Hospice provides hospice services to meet the physical, psycho-social, and spiritual needs of individuals at the end of life. We focus on an individualized plan of care which may include, as appropriate, the following services: nursing, physicians, hospice aides, spiritual support, therapy, dietary, counseling, volunteers, durable medical equipment, supplies, bereavement services and medications related to the terminal illness.

Volunteers are an important part of the hospice model. Volunteers provide special compassionate presence and support to our patients and family in ways that only a volunteer can. When a volunteer visits a patient, they are visiting the patient because they want to be there. It's not a job or an obligation. That is a powerful action for our patients and families!
