We are a non profit organization that raises awareness and funds for research for SCAD which stands for spontaneous coronary artery dissection, which is the number one cause of heart attacks in young women. We are having a 5K called 5K SCADadle for Research at Danada Reserve on the 22nd of June 2024 and we need various volunteers to help with set up, breakdown, registration, water station, and directing.
We have time slots available from
6:30 am to 9:00 am (registration) - 6 slots available
7:30 am to 10:30 am (course turn) 6 slots available
7:30 am to 10:30 am (water station) 2 slots available
10:30 am to 12:00 pm (clean up) 4 slots available
7:30 am to 10:30 am (various duties) 6 slots available

SCAD typically affects younger, otherwise healthy individiuals especially women. SCAD can be fatal. SRI is a grassroot non profit that raises funds and awareness for the largest SCAD study in the world at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
