We need a team of three volunteers to count and survey the number of visitors that come to the preserve. Each volunteer will be given a hand counter or clipboard with demographics information to check off.
The survey will be done in the front parking lot, near the head of trail. Standing, walking sitting outside for a couple of hours is required.
This opportunity would not be conducted in inclement weather.
Each volunteer will receive four volunteer hours.
Volunteer must arrive at 09:45 to receive supplies and instruction to begin at 10:00

Description
The Blue Heron Nature Preserve 501(c)(3) is a nonprofit organization which manages a 30-acre greenspace located in north Atlanta in partnership with the City of Atlanta Parks Department. The Preserve was founded in 2000 with the vision of being a haven for nature in an urban environment. Our mission is to create a personal experience in nature for everyone through engagement, preservation, education, research and advocacy.
