Lenox Hill Neighborhood House is a 129-year-old settlement house widely recognized as one of New York's premier human services providers. Founded in 1894 as a free kindergarten for immigrant children, the Neighborhood House now serves 16,000 people in need each year through a wide variety of effective and integrated services --social, educational, legal, health, housing, mental health, nutritional and fitness.
We are seeking musicians and singers to perform for participants in our CARE program, an arts-based day program for older adults with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. CARE provides an engaging environment that allows participants to be involved in group and individualized activities, while also providing a respite for family caregivers. Performances take place on Mondays, 11:00-11:45am via Zoom and Tuesdays, 1:00-1:45pm, in-person. All styles and genres of music are welcome.
