The Armenians of Whitinsville Project (www.armeniansofwhitinsville.org) is conducting a series of approximately hour long interviews of Armenians with ties to the town of Whitinsville, MA. The interviews speak to what it was like to grow up in town, what the community was like and how Armenian identity has changed over the last 100 years or so. The interviews are being fed through Otter's artificial intelligence subscription service. While the transcriptions are good in body, they need to be corrected. A volunteer would listen to the tape on Vimeo and follow the otter edit and correct the transcription for content, time stamps and the person speaking.

The person doing the transcribing would be working with organizers of the project, and get a sense for what goes into building out an archival community website.
