SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

The English Enrichment Facilitator fill a vital role in NMIC’s ESOL program. English Enrichment class is a once a week, conversation, issues-based class. The English Enrichment Facilitator will lead a once-a-week mixed level English class as they explore issues relevant to their experiences in NYC.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead an in-person English conversation class of 10-20 students once a week on Friday mornings for at least 12 sessions.

• Work with the Academic Coordinator to develop topics of conversation weekly using The Change Agent.

• Maintain a record of attendance and submit attendance to program staff at the end of each session.
