- Creating confidence through bike skills & fitness
- Teaching goal-setting & deliberate practice

Mission Statement
We believe in mountain biking as a path to getting young people outdoors, active, and involved in their community. We see cycling as a sport that can be enjoyed by anyone, and we design our programming to help each student athlete find their niche.
Description
We are 100% volunteer and participate in the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) and Wisconsin Interscholastic Cycling League programs. Whether through racing, exploration, social rides, trail maintenance, or just riding along, our goals are to:
- Improve our student athletes' fitness and bike skills
- Encourage positivity and inclusivity
- Coach through goal-setting and deliberate practice
- Introduce young people to trail advocacy and volunteerism
- Build and foster a strong team culture
- Follow risk management guidelines to keep riders safe
- Make it Fun!

REQUIREMENTS
- Background Check
- Must be at least 18
- Orientation or Training
- One or two evenings (your choice of Tuesday and/or Thursday) per week from the beginning of July through the end of October. Times are 5:45pm-8:15pm (though that'll change a little in the fall when it gets dark faster).
- Please bring along a positive attitude, the ability to bike beginner-level off-road trails, and a willingness to work with middle and high school-age kids. Some online and live training will be provided and are required.
