As a hospice volunteer you are open to doing a number of activities, whether it be in a facility with a large group or more one on one in a home. Hospice volunteers can read, play games, color, paint, etc. with the hospice patient.
People become hospice volunteers for many reasons. Many volunteer to express gratitude for help they received during their loved one's illness. The benefit of engaging in this type of community service is that you're making a difference where you live. You're giving back, and you're helping others.

Willowbrook Hospice is a local provider of holistic and palliative care for patients with a life-limiting illness. As a provider in the communities we serve, Willowbrook concentrates on the patient and family/caregiver to ensure the most exceptional care and support are provided for each individual patient and their specific needs.
