Each year our organization hosts a fundraising gala on the first weekend in December. Every year we hope to have a different theme. We have a list of potential themes but we need a volunteer to look at the themes, do some research to help us plan out ahead of time different aspects. How can we incorporate the theme into the event? Examples of themes we have in mind: Space, Holidays around the world, etc.
We also want to incorporate themes for our annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner.
We're looking for someone who is creative, has a heart for non-profit fundraising, and is able to research aspects of a theme to match it to parts of our event (decor, labeling, sponsor names, etc.)

The mission of Interfaith Caring Ministries (ICM) is to honor our faiths and strengthen our community one family at a time by helping local families, individuals, and seniors in need.
Description
ICM serves thousands of individuals and families of all ages with services including emergency food, rent assistance, utility assistance, senior outreach, school supplies and holiday programs. A client’s access to services is based on proof of residency and documented financial need, without regard to religious beliefs or other discrimination. Supported by the local faith community and businesses, agency programs serve to preserve shelter, stability and dignity for our clients. ICM’s on-site food pantry is the second largest in Galveston County.
