Digital Harbor Foundation is dedicated to digital equity for everyone, increasing diversity in the technology sector, and advancing technology innovation for the public good. Located at 1045 Light Street, the former South Baltimore Rec Center has been reimagined as a youth-focused Tech Center with access to the tools and the time to be creative that provides pathways from the classroom to careers and the opportunity for youth to drive towards the future they see and want now. At its most basic level, the Tech Center is a "playground for the mind." While a lot goes into the intentionality and design of experiences for students, the process and joy of learning is foundational to all that comes after and "learning to love learning" is a core outcome of our work.

Volunteers are an important part in keeping after-school programming running smoothly. While learning technology alongside youth volunteers also have the opportunity to assist programming in the following ways:

• Ensure students are checked-in and signed-out safely at arrival and dismissal
• Taking attendance and data entry
• Handing out snack to students
• Supporting classroom instructors

Programming takes place afterschool on Monday - Thursday starting February 6 through May 4. We are looking for volunteers who can take on a minimum of one day a week for the semester, but multiple shifts are welcome! Volunteers will have to undergo fingerprinting at Baltimore City Public Schools in order to participate.
