The Association for Individual Development is in need of volunteers willing to perform general clerical duties including using the computer to scan and index, filing, making copies, etc. in our McHenry office. Weekday daytime volunteers are needed between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., and we ask all volunteers to commit to a minimum of one, 4 hour volunteer shift a week.

Volunteers must be fully COVID vaccinated in order to volunteer(booster not required).

Description

For over 50 years, the Association for Individual Development (AID) has provided services to individuals who have developmental, physical, and/or mental disabilities, those who have suffered trauma or those at risk.

All clients have access to vital, life enriching services including: early intervention; developmental therapy; autism programs; audiology; respite care; permanent affordable housing; developmental and vocational training; job placement and on-the-job coaching services; crisis intervention; community education and advocacy.
