The West Suburban Community Pantry is looking for customer service oriented volunteers who greet customers as they arrive to shop. We are looking for friendly, positive people who enjoy interacting with others who may come from different backgrounds. It is a fun job that will keep you busy your entire shift.
This job is mostly seated and could accommodate a volunteer in a wheelchair.

Mission Statement
The West Suburban Community Pantry (WSCP) offers food for the hungry and resources to empower people to improve their quality of life.
Description
Located in Woodridge since the 1970's, The West Suburban Community Pantry currently serves over 9,000 individuals each month. WSCP is integral to helping people in DuPage and Will Counties receive the nutrition they need to lead full lives. We work to break down barriers to food assistance, implement new services to best help people in our community, encourage volunteerism, and educate about existing needs.
After finding and fostering families and individuals who need care, we can also refer resources to ease and eliminate the circumstances that led customers to seek emergency aid.
