Make a Difference in the Lives of Hospice Patients
Hospice volunteers are an essential part of the team providing ill patients with extra attention and comfort. Visits from volunteers offer companionship and someone new to talk to. You would also allow family caregivers the opportunity for a much-needed break to run errands or take a nap knowing someone is with their loved one.
There are many roles that a Volunteer can take part in playing music, talk or read to the patient. Or even in the office helping on the back end with phone calls or other administrative duties.
