Habitat for Humanity of Orange County is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization that is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating, and preserving homes. Photography volunteers help Habitat OC document the progress on the build site, while recording the efforts made by our volunteers. After the volunteers have their safety meeting, please work with the Construction Site Superintendent to get a group photo of the volunteers working on the build site. Once the volunteers are given their assignments and begin working, please take some candid shots of them completing their tasks. Once you have finished with your photography tasks, you are welcome to join the construction volunteers. Check with the site superintendent to join one of the projects for the day! This volunteer experience can provide proof of hours, credit, or letters of recommendation after multiple shifts.
