Look Good Feel Better is a free program provided by the American Cancer Society, the Personal Care Products Council Foundation; and the Professional Beauty Association that helps improve the self-image and self-esteem of women experiencing appearance-related side effects from cancer treatment.

Trained volunteer certified cosmetologists are needed to offer hands-on, self-help instruction and education in their areas of expertise - hairstyling and coping with hair loss, skin care, make-up and nail care -- to cancer patients in group sessions and through the distribution of self-help materials. If you help women look good and feel better for a living, this is a great and rewarding opportunity to truly help them live better, as well. Volunteers must attend training which is provided through the American Cancer Society.
