Board responsibilities include: - Attending bimonthly (once every months) board meetings (via video chat) and other meetings as required - Staying informed about board matters, preparing for meetings, and reviewing/ commenting on minutes, reports, and other documents - Participating in fundraising for the organization, working towards personally set goals - Adhering to all board and organization agreements, rules, and bylaws

Fundraising Knowledge:

-Donor Relations and Stewardship -Donor Engagement -Marketing and Communications -Education -Scholarships -Endowments

Project Management:
Create, implement, plan, strategize, and follow-up

Administrative:
Calendar scheduling, Plan events, answer website inquiries

Social Media

Create, and plan daily post that relate to content aligned with mission

To empower women, teens, and children who have experienced domestic and teen dating violence and prevent future incidences in our community through awareness and education.

Description

Started in 2009, a 501c3 non-profit that have provided workshops for Philadelphia Free Libraries, Jefferson University Fellows, PHA residents, Salvation Army shelters, and School District of Philadelphia. Keynote Speakers for Zeta Phi Theta events, awards from Woman's Way, Soroptimist International, and State Representative Office for Community services. Educating women, children affected by domestic violence and providing self-sufficiency. Working with teen girls in helping them understand teen dating violence signs.
