ORGANIZATION: Raising a Scholar

As a Secretary at Raising a Scholar, you are responsible for facilitating communications within the organization and fielding interactions with the public. You will work closely with the CEO and Ambassadors, providing support when needed.

Other duties are:

  • Respond to inquiries via telephone or email
  • Book meeting rooms, set up conference calls, and take messages and minutes during a meeting
  • Write emails, memos, and letters when assigned
  • Implement and/or develop office procedures and record systems
  • Manage database entry and client files
  • Organize and distribute messages
  • Prepare and mail outgoing correspondence
  • Maintain confidential department files/records
  • Assist with presentations and reports
These duties will be distributed among secretaries to avoid complications or overburdening.

Raising a Scholar is a non-profit organization based in Cartersville, Georgia. We aim to overcome educational barriers for students worldwide by helping provide the resources needed. We believe that every student, regardless of sexual or racial identity, financial status, ethnicity, etc., should have access to primary education that is equal and of good quality. Our goal is to help as many students attain a primary education and support them in furthering their education.
