The Tech Interactive in Downtown San Jose Needs Volunteers Like You!

Do you have the desire to learn and teach others about STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, or math)? If so, then The Tech might be the perfect place for you to volunteer! The Tech Interactive is home to one-of-a-kind learning experiences, and our volunteers help people of all ages and backgrounds discover their inner innovators and problem solvers.

Curious about what you could be doing? You could greet guests as they enter The Tech Interactive, help take tickets and share information about our amazing IMAX films, teach others about social robots, or even inspire the next astronaut by operating our jet-pack chair!

If you have a passion for innovation and enjoy talking to others, this is the place for you! You don't need any prior science or technology knowledge to volunteer with us; you’ll attend an online orientation and in-person tour, and receive hands-on training when you start.

Trying to volunteer around a busy schedule? We have excellent opportunities for you.

Tuesday - Friday, morning (9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.) and afternoon (12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.) shifts are available, with a weekly or biweekly schedule.
