Chief of Youth Services job description

Here at Bios we use a intergenerational friendship model for our youth department. As a chief of Youth Services position the goal is to create an environment that is relatable and foster spiritual growth and excellence your top priorities as a chief of Youth Services is to identify and understand gaps in the relationship between you are youth and God serve as liaisons between children family peers etcetera have a basic understanding of child psychology and how to apply the Bible in a way that a child will be able to understand maintain and develop a working relationship with the youth that is currently in the department evangelize minister and expand the youth department

Must do the work necessary to acquire experience in leading and managing a Youth Services department experiences in working with children is required as CDA is preferred unless you are interning for the Church system a high school diploma is required. Must be willing to go through church operator training any applicants over the age of 18 will have to apply as a chaplain then transfer to this position direct apply is only available to any interning youth that is unable to complete training as a chaplain

* As with most positions in the youth department any person over the age of 18 must be willing to undergo a background check and cannot have any prior criminal convictions in most cases you will be asked to apply for a higher position receive training there and then be transferred into the youth department to begin your role this is for the sake of gathering experience so that you could be your best self in any role when it comes to working with our children BIOS cosmos church has a comprehensive internship program that allows many people to serve in many capacities in the church if you are interested you may also apply for this program the more experience the better*
