Church Safety Job Description

the purpose of having a church safety director is to develop and coordinate policies and best practices for security in church environment responsibilities are including but not limited to providing cybersecurity for all chat rooms websites and any intellectual property of the kcs providing physical security either by means of hiring a private company or local law enforcement to any in person events that the church may have recruiting and hiring additional staff as needed to protect the safety of the church system whether digitally or physically this person will be in charge of reporting any and all security or legal infractions to the proper authorities including but not limited to child abuse

person must be 21 years of age post certification preferred high school diploma required previous law enforcement background strongly preferred must be able to submit to and pass a criminal background check must not have a criminal record

Most duties for this position are voluntary, applicants are allowed to pick at least two paid substitute assignments upon hire.
