The Alzheimer’s Association Cincinnati Chapter is part of the Alzheimer’s Association, the world's leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research. From its office in Cincinnati, Ohio, the Cincinnati Chapter provides education and support for people diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, as well as their families and caregivers. In addition, it offers local support groups, early-stage engagement programs, community education classes and a 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900).

Planning Walk to End Alzheimer's is a great way to grow your management skills and make a big community impact in a passionate, relentless nonprofit setting. Each year, dozens of volunteers, like you, plan six Walk to End Alzheimer's events across Cincinnati to raise critical funds for Alzheimer's disease research, care & support programs, and policy work at the state and federal levels. Your work will support the 6 million Americans living with Alzheimer's and the millions more that love, support and care for them.

Executive Leadership Team

  • Serve as a volunteer leader for Walk to End Alzheimer’s to ensure financial goals are achieved.
  • Commit your company as a top sponsor.
  • Lead or appoint someone to serve as your Company Leader and commit to becoming a top fundraising team at your Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
  • Recruit new companies to partner as sponsors and teams.
  • Become an Elite Grand Champions Club member.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in at least four Executive Leadership Team meetings.
  • Attend Company Team Kickoff and Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
  • Recruit 3-5 new company sponsors/teams using a targeted approach that include introductions and attending meetings in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association staff.
  • Assist in executing a successful Leadership Roundtable event in conjunction with your fellow ELT members to help identify additional ELT members and or future chair candidates.
  • Work closely with your staff partner to ensure the success of the event.
