The Virginia Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation is seeking a Jingle Bell Run Race Ambassador for our 2023 Jingle Bell Run 5K taking place on December 9, 2023 in Newport News. The program is made up of active runners who are focused on healthy lifestyles and motivating, encouraging and supporting others to live their best life. The Jingle Bell Run Race Ambassador will focus on recruiting new runners and motivate them leading up to race day. The Ambassador will be instrumental in driving new registrations for continued growth of the event. As our Jingle Bell Run Race Ambassador you will receive complimentary entry into the 2023 Newport News Jingle Bell Run; official race merchandise; biography, photo, social media, and email links announcing your role on official Arthritis Foundation platforms, etc. The Race Ambassador will create a team and register for the Newport News Jingle Bell Run; attend the Newport News Jingle Bell Run on December 9, 2023 . Post bi-weekly from July 1 -- December 9 on social media about the event. Posts can include training photos, training tips, motivating messages, race announcements and event updates, and incentives to drive registration. The Ambassador will distribute promotion materials to surrounding points of interest in your area (running stores, gyms, local races, etc). All materials will be provided by Arthritis Foundation staff. Meet regularly (in person or virtually) with your Arthritis Foundation staff partner to ensure the support and resources are provided to successfully perform the role. We can't wait to work with you!
