Volunteer Opportunity: Grant Writing & Research Pioneers Team.
As a vital member of our team, you won't just write grants; you'll be the architects of growth opportunities:
Targeted Impact: Identify funding opportunities that align with our mission to support Black farmers, women farmers, veterans, and beginning farmers/ranchers.
Crafting Pathways: Write compelling grant requests to fund capacity building, operational needs, and the implementation of transformative projects.
Community Focus: Empower the farming community by leveraging your self-motivation and determination to secure resources that foster sustainable agriculture and empower those underrepresented in the field.
Qualifications:
- Self-Motivated & Determined: We seek individuals with the drive and determination to make a real impact.
- Experience: Prior experience in grant writing for nonprofits, social and environmental justice groups, and community-based organizations is a plus.

Our mission is to assist African American farmers and other underserved farmers/ranchers maintain and create sustainable farms and spaces to grow food and motivate the next generation of farmers to grow sustainable and with community in mind.
Description
FARMS TO GROW, INC is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization dedicated to advocating and providing technical assistance to Black farmers throughout the country. Farms To Grow, Inc. is committed to sustainable farming and innovative agriculture practices which preserve the cultural and biological diversity, the agroecological balance of the local environment.
Farms To Grow, Inc. aims to increase the capacity of underserved farmers to keep their farm operations and establish farming as a viable career for future generations. Underserved farmers may include Native American, Hispanic, other minority groups, women, the physically challenged and limited access organic farmers.
