In today's world, students need more than traditional education to succeed. DECA provides real-world business experience to bridge the gap between education and career readiness. This is where you come in! As a volunteer, you have the power to make a significant impact and be a HERO for our members by serving as a competitive event judge. Students from all over Indiana will converge on Indianapolis, IN, to showcase their skills in business and leadership by competing in one of 60+ competitive events. These events range from prepared business plans and market research events to role-plays based on today's business world and relevant case studies.
All DECA events are designed for high school students and structured so that professionals from a variety of backgrounds can successfully judge the event. With your support and guidance, we are able to better prepare our members to be college and career ready in an ever changing economy. Judges will start the day with an orientation session and complimentary breakfast/lunch. Enjoy the day by making a difference in the lives of our members and be their HERO! Indiana DECA is a non-profit organization focused on helping high school students prepare for careers in marketing, management, entrepreneurship, finance, and hospitality. This March, DECA students from across the great state of Indiana will gather in Indianapolis for their annual competition. This is their chance to earn the privilege of representing Indiana at the international competition in Orlando, FL, this April. We need volunteers like you to evaluate their presentations on their path to success. Judging is simple and rewarding. We hope you will choose to be a hero for these students and sign up to volunteer as a judge. It is a few hours of your time and has a big impact on students today.
