Reading Partners is a children’s literacy nonprofit that pairs local volunteers with our community’s K-4 students who are reading behind grade level. In as little as one hour per week, our volunteers help to close the gap in reading levels using our evidence-based curriculum. It’s easy, it’s hugely impactful, and it’s needed now more than ever before. Our Centers are located at eleven different schools spread out in Westminster, Jeffco, Aurora, and Denver.

VOLUNTEER COMMITMENT:

● Work one-on-one with an elementary school student(s) reading below grade level.

● Use the Reading Partners structured curriculum with fidelity.

● Commit to a minimum of one hour per week.

● Communicate with Reading Partners staff should any issues or concerns regarding students arise.

● Assist Reading Partners staff in maintaining a safe and effective tutorial session.

● Be flexible if changes occur to the schedule that are outside of Reading Partners’ control.

In the event your student is absent, volunteers are asked to work with another student.
