Farmer-to-Farmer is a program that promotes economic development and food security abroad by sending volunteer technical specialists from the U.S. to Latin America to provide technical assistance to producers, cooperatives, agribusinesses, NGOs, and educational institutions (referred to as "hosts"). Our program covers all volunteer costs including airfare, lodging, meals, insurance, and any other assignment-related expenses.

We are looking for a Website Design Specialist to volunteer for two weeks in March or April to support a #DominicanRepublic environmental institute. The volunteer will spend their time analyzing the current website and working one-on-one with the Technology manager to implement improvements. The volunteer will also train four students on the basics of web design to build the Insitute's capacity.

Desired Qualifications of Volunteer

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, web design, graphic design, or a related degree
• Experience: More than five years working in website design with an emphasis on education institutions and environmental topics preferred. Experience with HTML, website template modification.

Eligible volunteers must have US citizenship, residency, or an active work visa and the passport expiration date is at least 6 months from expected travel date.
