Farmer-to-Farmer is a program that promotes economic development and food security abroad by sending volunteer technical specialists from the U.S. to Latin America to provide technical assistance to producers, cooperatives, agribusinesses, NGOs, and educational institutions (referred to as "hosts"). Our program covers all volunteer costs including airfare, lodging, meals, insurance, and any other assignment-related expenses.

We are looking for a Video and Photo Editing Specialist to volunteer for two weeks in March or April to support a #DominicanRepublic watershed conservation and recovery project. The volunteer will spend their time analyzing the current media library, training staff and students in organization and editing, and making recommendations on how to better utilize their media resources for environmental manuals, social media, and magazines.

Desired Qualifications of Volunteer

  • Undergraduate/Graduate degree in video and photo editing for environmental and ecotourism purposes.
  • Experience with professional video and pictures equipment and software for editing.
  • Experience working in photo and video editing and organization.
  • Conservational Spanish preferred
  • Experience working in a developing country preferred
  • Flexibility
