Our patient advocates work with newly diagnosed cancer patients in the DFW area to process applications for financial assistance with cancer related treatment costs. Advocates interact with cancer patients directly as well as their treatment providers to determine if the patient qualifies for our financial assistance and, if so, determine the amount of financial assistance needed. In the process, advocates also provide emotional support to help relieve some of the stress associated with a cancer diagnosis and to make the patient feel that they are cared about.
