August Beer Fest: Group Volunteers Wanted!

Responsibilities as a Volunteer:
o Check in at the Volunteer Check In Station
o Hand out items (beer glasses/other promotional items as needed)
o Scan tickets using electronic scanning device
o Wristband attendees
o Pour beers from a tap (rare cases from a can)
o Minimal cleaning/disinfecting table tops during the event
o Carry/transporting items from one location to another (by hand or handcart if necessary)

Volunteer Shift:
3pm - 8pm
Perks of Volunteering: 1 meal and up to 6 OCSC game tickets for that night’s game
*You must request these tickets before game day/beerfest day and wait until after Beerfest to attend the game.

Requirements:
21+ years of age.
Good attitude.
Flexible when asked to help with different tasks.
Able bodied, bending, stooping, lifting 5lbs - 15lbs.

Description of the Event:
Local breweries give out tastings of their products. As a volunteer you’ll help poor beer so that the
brewery representatives can talk with the attendees about their product. The event is not open to
the public. Each volunteer will be responsible for their given task. As a volunteer you’ll help keep
the event space clean and safe for everyone (pick up after yourself and others).

Purpose of the Event:
OCSC Beer Fest is a fun kickoff event for the OCSC Home Game! At 4pm the VIPs get access to the
evet, and at 5pm the regular attendees have access until the soccer game starts at 8pm. Proceeds
from the event will benefit the Ronald McDonald House Orange County.
