Virtual Camp takes place in June each summer. Each camper receives a special themed box
that includes all items needed for the entire week of camp! These boxes are filled to the brim
with opportunities to bring the benefits of Camp to their home and engage and connect with
their camp family Virtual Camp has not only allowed us to serve children at their homes but
also to start serving children in the hospital or currently quarantined due to their treatment
plan.
Volunteers have the opportunity to serve as a moderator/virtual counselor & engage with the campers. Or, you can lead a session pertaining to the theme of the week. Each day we have two morning sessions (10am-12pm) and two afternoon sessions (2pm-4pm) one all camp session in the evening (7-8pm). Volunteers need to have access to Zoom each day.

Since 1981, we have offered support and encouragement to children diagnosed with cancer and their families by providing gratuitous year-round programs, special events, and access to crisis resources. Our goal is to improve the physical, emotional, and psychological health of the entire family facing pediatric cancer.
Description
At Camp Happy Days, we believe that everychild battling cancer in South Carolina should have an opportunity to benefit from a summer camp experience and other life-changing programs regardless of family income or economic status. Every program we offer is free to the families we serve.
What cancer takes away, Camp Happy Days gives back - lots of smiles, laughter and the pure carefree joy of being a kid. It is our goal to create powerful, life-changing experiences that helps children fighting cancer live their dreams, realize their potential, to overcome adversity and discover a renewed sense of pride and self-confidence.
