Recruiting Organization: Brookwood Community Farm

Field/Harvest workshares commit to working one morning a week, from 8 am to 12 pm. As a benefit, harvesters receive a CSA share on weeks worked.

Harvest workshares work directly with our farmers to help make our production goals in the fields! Tasks include weeding, harvesting in various fields, moving heavy bins, and other farmwork, depending on the needs of that particular day.

Field workshares are a critical component to farm operations, and will be supervised by a staff member. We ask field workshares to be aware of keeping their hands moving while talking and to transition quickly between tasks. This allows us to get food to our members and food access partners on time, in good condition and at a rate that ensures the farm remains sustainable.

Workshares need to be able to lift up to 30 lbs, and work in all weather conditions.
