A 67-year-old woman with ALS would love a volunteer to help her with light cleaning, seasonal yard work, and/or errands. She would be interested in having a volunteer visit every other week for approximately 2 hours at a time: Monday-Thursday or Saturdays would be the best days for someone to visit in the morning or afternoon. She does not have pets, but does smoke inside her home.
If you have an extra 2 hours every 2 weeks to help out a neighbor in need, we'd love to hear from you! This opportunity is part of the ALS Association's Family Assistance Program (website notes different states, but this program was just launched in Wisconsin!):
