Life of Riley Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) foster-based organization based in Oregon. We are looking for someone to fulfill the important role of Adoption Coordinator. Our primary focus is rescuing at-risk dogs from California shelters.
Duties include:
- Screen adoption applications; call and interview potential adopters
- Reference checking
- Complete virtual home checks
- Provide adoption care information to new adopters
- Work with the Foster Coordinator when coordinating handoff between foster dog and adopter
- Prepare and send out Adoption Contracts
- Act as adopter's main point of contact
- Check in with adopters at 3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months
Must have:
- Excellent people skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible
- Laptop/computer/phone

We are a 501(c)(3) foster-based dog rescue located in Oregon. We focus on saving dogs from high-kill shelters in California. Our primary goal is to get at-risk dogs out of these environments and into foster homes or directly to an adopter.
