This is a volunteer opportunity to serve with MBMentors (Minneapolis Business Mentors) as a Facilitator
working with a small group of business owners who meet once a month to discuss their concerns, opportunities, and challenges in running their businesses.
The group meets in-person in an open, relaxed atmosphere with their peers. All group members are CEOs or owners of a small businesses. The discussions are confidential with no competitors or competition in the same group. The Facilitator is responsible for guiding the discussions, to keep the group on track and moving forward. He/she is not the group leader but a facilitator of the conversation. The position requires no more than 6 hours per month. (It is fun and interesting work!).
We will provide you with training and 1:1 coaching to help you help others.

We do this with our skills, experiences, knowledge, and abilities to help people start, run, and grow their small businesses. And, we do this at no cost to our clients.
Description
MBMentors was founded in January of 2020, as a 501(c)3, all-volunteer, non-profit business services organization. We are a group of experienced businesspeople whose mission is to give back to our business community. All volunteers have extensive business experience and expertise in starting, running and growing businesses.
Our 20+ team members desire is to help our clients succeed in starting and operating their business ventures. Our services include: 1:1 business coaching/mentoring, educational webinars, business plan support, CEO Roundtables and a Women's Collective for and by women in business.
Mentoring/Coaching clients are assigned to an advisor based on his/her specific needs and business challenges. Volunteers and clients have the option of meeting in-person, through email, phone, or video conferencing. Meetings occur as frequently as the client request. There is no cost to our clients for the services we provide.
