Food insecurity is not only an issue for economically disadvantaged communities, but also something that we should all consider given the turbulent climate of supply chain. Our organization is looking to lead the effort to sow, grow, and harvest fresh produce in our community and teach people the art of food preservation. This includes freeze dried, in addition to canning, and possibly other techniques. We are looking for skilled artisans who have the ability and are willing to teach these skills in our community garden through live demonstrations. We are in the process of landscaping our garden with plans to support outdoor cooking activities.
