Teens Needed for Homework Zone at Rio Linda Library

Sacramento Public Library is currently recruiting teen volunteers for our in-person Homework Zone program.

Every week, students in Kindergarten through 8th grades drop in at the Homework Zone, where trained teen coaches help them complete their school assignments.

Eligibility parameters:

  1. Must be a current high school student under 18 years of age
  2. Must be available Tuesdays and/or Thursdays from 3:30 and 5:30 p.m.
  3. Previous volunteering, homework help, or tutoring experience preferred but not required
  4. Bilingual applicants are very welcome

**All candidates for the position will be required to complete volunteer paperwork and attend orientation and training session before starting.

1 Shift

  • 03:30 PM to 05:30 PM
    Tuesday and/or Thursday afternoons
  • NONE OF THESE TIMES WORK FOR ME, BUT I CAN STILL HELP
