Alzheimer's Association

Be a part of the world’s largest event to fight Alzheimer’s. The Alzheimer’s Association National Capital Area Chapter welcomes volunteers for the chapter’s signature event; Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Walk to End Alzheimer’s is held in more than 600 communities nationwide and dollars fundraised go towards Alzheimer’s care, support and research, including our 24/7 helpline. Join our planning committee or sign up to become an event-day volunteer with friends and family, and share the opportunity with your company, social groups, schools and more! With seven opportunities throughout the fall season, there’s a walk for each and every supporter to get involved and help our chapter reach our $2 million goal in the fight to #ENDALZ.

To learn more about our volunteer opportunities, please contact Noah Bridgit Phelps at brphelps@alz.org and visit alz.org/ncawalks to see upcoming dates.

For students, volunteer hours will be given and letters of recommendations are also available.
