You may have heard that HSC, Inc. is the new point of contact for Valley of the Sun United Way’s famed Project Connect events. Project Connect is a series of pop-up resources and outreach that help bring the services we have on campus and beyond to communities that need them.

Project Connect is scheduled every 4-6 weeks and changes locations each occurrence. This event typically brings around 150 guests, so our volunteers are essential in executing a successful event. Volunteers help with set up and breakdown of the event, provider assistance, or helping guests navigate the event, and more.

Please reach out to us at volunteer@hsc-az.org with any questions and expect a response within 48 hours of your submission. Visit https://hsc-az.org/volunteer/ for more information.

If you are interested in signing up a group of people, please contact us directly at volunteer@hsc-az.org or 602-282-0849.

Light breakfast and lunch as well as water and coffee will be provided.
Masks are recommended indoors at this event. Please stay home if you are feeling sick.

Volunteer Roles:

  • Guest Guide - The Guest Guide helps guests one-on-one, just as much as requested, and provides a friendly hand to ease the stress and burdens that can result from this process. Sometimes this simply means asking a staff member if a guest needs help. A guide does not need to know all the answers or have a deep awareness of the services, but must be present, friendly, and flexible for the guest.
  • Guest Storage and Check-in Assistance
  • Floater/Event Maintenance
