We are CURRENTLY SEEKING host families in LINCOLN and surrounding areas for several fall 2023 exchange students, full year, semester for 5 months, or welcome families! You only need a spare bed and an open heart

These are just a few:

  • Clara from Germany, age 15 - likes climbing, hiking and art
  • Gonzalo from Spain, age 15 - likes roller skating, paddle tennis, playing guitar, and shooting drone videos
  • Supat from Thailand age 17 - likes soccer, volleyball, voice, dance and drama
  • Alexandra from Chile, age 17 - likes volleyball, golf, dance and yoga

iE-USA is a relationship-focused non-profit organization working with exchange students from across the world, U.S. host families, and host communities. In exchange for a bed, 3 meals a day, local transportation and the support of a family, you and your family will get an experience of a lifetime and the opportunity to learn about someone from another culture and country, share your America, and create a bond with someone from another country.

Traditional and non-traditional families welcome, including retirees, empty nesters, young couples, singles, single parents, same-sex families, multi-generational families, etc.

Description

iE-USA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational exchange organization that was founded in 2002. We are devoted to building and strenghthening relationships and understanding among the people of the world and believe that learning about other cultures, languages, and customs is the best way to eliminate fears and prejudices. We pride ourselves on providing individual care and direct support to our exchange students, host families, local schools, and iE team members, and we are certified by the Council on Standards for International Educational Travel (CSIET).
