Retail Customer Associates provide excellent customer service by greeting and interacting with patrons , assisting with inventory replenishment, and operating a POS on an iPad, working alongside and in coordination with retail staff. A retail background with cash handling experience is preferred but not necessary.
We are currently looking for volunteers who can commit to a weekly shift on Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays from 1:00-4:00pm. If you are interested, please complete a Friends application at www.kennedy-center.org/Support/volunteer/friends. On the application you will note your interest and availability for the Retail Customer Associate position. We do not monitor responses submitted on Volunteer Match.

Description
A person who, beyond regular paid employment and normal day-to-day responsibilties, chooses to contribute time and service as a member of the Kennedy Center personnel team to assist the Center in the accomplishment of its mission.Friends volunteer services operates every day of the year unless otherwise indicated. Daily shifts are from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.; 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.; 6 p.m .- 9 p. m. Areas include gift shops, tour guides, information desk, administration and education.
