Food Pantry Distribution

Looking for a volunteer to oversee the distribution of food to our clients. Responsibilities include:

  • Work with Case Managers to determine client’s needs;
  • Dispense food to the client: prepared box/boxes and additional items per client request;
  • Assist with loading of client’s car, if needed;
  • Must be able to lift 30-40 lb. boxes.

This is a client-facing position.

Friday, 9-12.

Client Food Pantry Procedure

Pull Client file

Ensure Intake form is current; i.e. July 1 of current year or later; if not, they need to fill out a new Intake form;

Check for current ID: DL or State ID;

Check for current utility bill;

In the event that either of the above is not current, refer the client to the Case Manager;

Client must sign the Waiver form everytime.

Review the Intake form regarding family size and ask if they need extra items besides what’s in the pre-filled boxes.

Instruct the Client to pull their car to the side door while you retrieve their food.

Return Client file to the Cabinet.

Input required data into appropriate application.
